Whilst there was some bad luck for my opponent early, it well and truly became a lopsided luckfest after that.

One dice pow in my cage.

Two dice my choice double pow against me in my cage.

Perfect Defence when setup for a one turn TD attempt.

Multiple snake eyes when passing the ball. Then my opponent picks it up and throws with 3+s etc.

Essentially nothing worked today until late in the second half when I started to pile on some casualties, but that didn't really help either as demonstrated by my grand total of 2 passes for the game.

Whilst my opponent was a good sport and played well, I don't think I was outplayed. I think I played better actually eg he didn't see my pass block, and he forgot I had sure hands. Sure I let him jump in my cage, but he had much better players than me and kick. My team was outclassed from the start (two Str4 Blodgers, multiple AG5s etc) and my only hope was to do major carnage to him and I am not usually the fouling type. Maybe if I had fouled a bit the game would have been closer but I will never know. Certainly the dice delivered this game for my opponent. Certainly not too much to expect two dice blitzes against would not yield two pows :D

A farce of a game, but the long term goal is in sight.... 50 Human games.
