“Amazons are tough oposition with their abundance of blodgers and us with only a few players with skills, so we were somewhat intimidated. However, our players in the box gave us hope.

After our initial two-turner, we planned to stall, biding time and waiting for the amazons to fumble or leave an opening. Coach def909 did well and no such thing happened. The goal came in turn seven. The fact that an amazon got hurt and went off the pitch in turn three was hardly noticeable.

Second half was a bludgeon-feast. We fielded more players, the 'zons more skill and training. The amazons where slowly but surely pushing towards my endzone, and in turn eleven they broke my defence and went for the goal. Luckily we managed to knock down the ball carrier and place tacklezons on the ball while making sure Johannes was ready at the other side of the pitch. A fumble with the ball by a Booby Trap thrower followed by the worst scatter ment that all we needed to do was a 2d blitz and pickup-long pass. This worked out excelent and the victory was secured in the last turn.
