After having the apothecary ignore Jackie's screams of agony during a first round match, a hired gun needed to be recruited for what would most certainly be a brutal sludgefest against the Longestyarders. With 2 Chaos Warriors and a 5ST beastman, not to mention a couple claws and a mighty blow for good measure, a towering pillar of strength would be needed, someone who could be a leader on the field, someone like.....Nobbla Blackwart?

After losing a prior final to the Yardbirds with Lord Borak in the ranks, someone even dirtier would be needed to try to corral the beasts of coach Ice_Dragon. After a first turn KO to the star, Ice_Dragon's horde crushed their way up the field for an easy score in the 7th turn, 1st half. All the Jacksons could do after a couple feeble attempts to disrupt the action was to lay down and cry.

Down 0-1 at the half, Nobbla regained conciousness and fired up the chainsaw. The screaming, grinding sound seemed to fire up the Jacksons and make the Longhorns retreat to find out what was happening. The Jacksons moved into position as the defense backed up. A quick blitz seriously injured Nobbla Blackwart, but the Apo was quick to step in and revive the carnage-maker. Nobbla set out with a fiery determination, and easily stunned the blitzer right back, then on the next turn, with a gleam in his eye, he blitzed into Matthew, slicing off half of his gigantic steroid-infused head. As Matthew had been suffering from a niggling injury before the match, the opponents apothecary had already used up his skills allowing Matthew onto the playing field. The King was dead.

The next turn, Tito took a cue from Nobbla and blitzed into Taylor II, stopping him in his tracks, and stopping his beastly heart. The tide had turned...the Jacksons tied the game.

Down 3 men to 5, the Longestyarders tried in vain to gather the ball. Tito played the part of Johnny-on-the-spot and blitzed Patrick out of the way, picking up the ball as well. A last-ditch blitz attempt on Tito was thwarted when the onrushing good tripped and toppled to the pitch at Tito's feet. After some nifty go-for-its, Tito was able to dance into the end zone, sending the Jackson 5 to their first ever IT title. After coming up silver in two previous attempts, they finally had a gold record to hang on the office wall.
