“Well folks, tonight was the final round match for the Tasmanian Rangers in SWL XV. Unfortunately, they found it difficult to recover from the pervious round's loss, and while they had obviously practiced, they were simply outmuscled by the higher seeded King's Park Rangers.

The Tasmanian Rangers pushed and struggled as hard as they could, but were powerless to prevent the King's Park Rangers from scoring 4 touchdowns without reply. The Tasmanian Rangers did take out their frustrations with a large number of fouls, even managing to incapacitate the King's Park Treeman Wardancer jnr, forcing him to leave the game.

After this routing loss, the Tasmanian Rangers finish their debut season in third place, which in their coaches opinion is better than they probably deserved, but still surprising that they made it that far that soon.

In the post-season press conference, Coach Lelruthus stated simply: "Third in a debut season. I've seen worse, and I've seen better. More worse than better. The Tasmanian Rangers have taken a vote, and we will be playing much harder in SWL XVI."
