“Yar, those drinking mates we had turned out to be tha evil undead! For some reason we didn't discover this until the pissing incident.
Naturally we had to take vengence upon them, and by the great Beard, we did!

Amazing blocks for me, lasting my first 11 turns at least. We scored 1-0 in 2 turns after a snakeeyes gfi on the defense. Then perfect defense meant the zombies became bogged down in a horde of steel, beards and beer-bellies. To that we add the fact that every block was a POW and you can see their offense crumble. They were so stumped they didn't even get to foul! 2-0 came before half-time.
Second half started out more sinister, a foul niggled our new blitzer who got to retire early. We connected up across the line and the bashing started. The first turns saw us again with great luck and we had a clear advantage, though the wolves refused to get hurt. Then all that good play turned around and became really bad play. Suddenly every block was a push, and no longer could a runner pick up the ball. Even managed to squeeze in a Quad-skull block. Thanks to our superior position at that point the Claws could not take advantage of this and the game ended in a big heap of players, with no score in second half.”
Before the game started our zombies had a nice little drink with our dwarves. When one of the wolves was drunk, he pissed on a dwarves beard.
That was the begin of a bad game ... the dwarves challenged us, and our drunken corpses would show them how to play the game.
But drunk zombies can't play :o(
