“During my usual bad luck orgies I have sometimes thought about the possibility that I have a biased view of things, and left wondering if it's really possible to be slaughtered by Nuffle in the way I have some often described. In the match against Snakebelly FC I have the distasteful position of watching it from the other side. Poor grant85 got screwed over by the dice in a way I was far too familiar with.

I had some money over, and since I really needed a win to boost my confidence I hired Mighty Zug. Some extra muscle against those Sauruses is always needed.

The match started with a real horror. My ogre Ham struck a niggling injury on the kroxigor Kelokoa, and the apothecary failed! That kind of misfortunes would haunt grant85 throughout the match.

I wouldn't call myself lucky in this match, I did several missed simple dodges with my catchers, and spent 2 turns trying to pick the ball up despite rerolls just outside his end zone. But I also got some help from Nuffle with a perfect defense, I got the ref and a rock that took out one of the opponent's skinks etc.

And no matter where I stood luck wise, compared to grant I seemed to be the luckiest person on the planet. He couldn't get ANYTHING to work. Bocks failed, the skinks missed crucuial pickups, he was harassed by injuries and KO's on his sauruses.

I must say, it's not an amusing sight watching someone in the utter misery of having the luck generator against him. The victory was very much needed on my behalf, but I would have liked to win the match in a more fair way. Thanks for the match grant, and I wish you better luck in the future.”
