I freed up the ballcarrier and was moving him forward when I screwed up the placement leaving him right next to a pair of marked 'flings instead of one square over where I could have attempted to dodge them back to set up a loose cage. Elves open a hole and the tackle blitzer flies in to recover the ball. 'flings knocked it loose again but never could get into position to stop the elves from recovering and scoring. 1-2.

Little guys receive again and the kick goes left while all my 'flings swarm right to gangfoul that tackle blitzer out of the game. A lone elf stands up, makes a dodge and a pair of gfi's to down the ballcarrier. 'flings finally tie up a bltizer and surf another elf to open the path upfield. Our ag4 'fling gets ready to take the handoff and move upfield to set up the next handoff but double 1's the grab. Lone elf back blitzes one 'fling to push him out of scoring range and then move over to mark the last remaining 'fling able to score without being TTM'd. On the last turn, the marked elf is knocked down, the now free 'fling safely takes the handoff, stumbles on the 1st gfi but recovers with a reroll, and then makes the last gfi to score. 2-2.

Fun, physical match. Only perm. was the niggle on Napfeet and that was due to an apo. failure - made enough to replace him and still have 20k left over to buy ingredients. Fanfactor increase on the tie is a bonus!”
