I knew from the beginning that this match could end up ugly for some players, still...my team answered to the call of the green grass. Which was to be smothered in rat-blood.
At the start of this match, Jenkins was unaware that my 10MA Gutter Runner was particularly fond of leather balls (no joke included), thus adding to my feel of ease as Medrook Sqweeek reached the end zone. 1-0.
Then the almighty dwarf-mayhem got its gear on and started to make rat salad out of my poor fellas. Still, M.Sqweeek managed to push himself through to the end zone for the 2nd time. This was all in the 1st half.
Well, my boys went in the box. Some got out, some decided to stay put. Jenkins put nigglings on two of my linemen and badly hurt one thrower. The rest of the hairy bunch resided at the KO box. It was full at the end of the game, I had 3 rats on the field.
Had to buy one lineman to get a full squad of whiskers for the next match.
The dices were quite ok. It just surprised Jenkins more than me, that on one turn one of my Gutter Runners dodged from tackle-zone to another and had to use only one re-roll. I recall there was 4 dodge attempts and the last attempt from tackle-zone to clear-zone failed and I had to use one re-roll.
The match was somewhat ok, but my rats got so much punching that towards the end it wasn't much fun. One thing I noticed. Sometimes it's good to be arrogant and disregard those tackle-zones and blocking with one dice. In this game my one-dice-blocks were mostly effective. Double-skulls were a rare sight this time, on both sides.

Well, atleast none of my rat's got killed.”
