“Good match against a good opponent.

After winning my first and only SMACK tourney it was nice to ground myself again before my huge head swelled any bigger.

I felt a little doomed and overwhelmed from the get go. Best player niggled out and then Batterbean the troll was fouled out on turn 1 (never to return from the KO bin)...

So down players early and 2 of my 3 guarders off the field it was pretty much downhill from there on out as the KO bin overflowed with greenskins.

Managed to pull off a decent scoring chance in the second half with a blitzer break-away. I couldn t stop the bull centaur 2D block on the ball but I had 2 AG4 and 1 stunty player nearby for a hopefully quick recovery.

Instead a lucky bounce (for RoD) put the ball in a hobby hand. Knocked him down... bounced into another hobby s hand. That pretty much sealed it.

One highlight of the match was Mickey the gobbo killing the mino with a foul.

RoD was a shrewd coach and played solid the whole game. My orcs stood little chance. Good luck in the SMACK final!”
