“So after being brutalized in a very narrow Tourney loss in OT I challenge my good friend SteelThunder to a recovery match against his vamps.
Of course he draws Virus and suddenly instead of 9 healthy elves, I have 7. Vul Thr'Ken gets SI ed early in the half and I play the whole game with 6 elves. Ouch. To make matters worse the Kick-Off table brutalizes me and the Sith s legendary bloodlust was exceedingly tame most of the game.
SteelThunder managed his vamps exceedingly well though and rebounded from each one of my crazy desperate plays. Unfortunately my only Cas of the game resulted in a Niggled Vamp.
Fun game, as I got to practice my heavily-out-numbered-elf skills!!”
“This was supposed to be a recovery game for my friend, who sought out my beleaguerd Vamps for a match. The Virus pretty much crippled his offense and even though my team was mostly Thralls, there were just too many of them.
Vader was hungry thoughout the match, and Bampf is a cagey opponent and will find even the tiniest of seams in a defense and exploit them. Still the sting of the Flesh Flayers will linger on as Lord Darth Maul was niggled and will never fully recover from such a game.
All in all, a very fun match, then again, every match is like that against Bampf.”
