“A close match. Despite continual pounding by the Knights of the Abyss, Lurid Fungus would not stop. Even when fielding half their team they still managed to put up quite a fight and twice had chances to win the match.. unfortunately we couldn't quite pull off the plays.

Knights of the Abyss played very well and certainly deserved the win. They scored the opening TD and then followed that with a blitz after the kick on an already weaken'd Fungus offense. Luckily, the bulk of the Knights charged the (reduced) bulk of the Fungus line, leaving only two defenders on Her. Her blitzed up field with the ball and dodged through for our only TD. The final play was a long struggle with both side coming close to breaking away with the ball. While we seemed to have trouble dodging into favourable positions, the Knights just couldn't pick up the ball. The ball spent an eternity midfield before finally the Knights moved it downfield. Considering the lack of Fungus players left on the pitch we did very well and came close to preventing a score. Eventually things came together and the Knights picked up the ball and stepped over the line to score.
