“Well. The game started with a blitz from the orcs, which caused no real damage. So outraged was Nurgle by this underhand behaviour of attacking before his boys were ready that he covered the ball in slime. This hurt us just as much as them (fickle are the Chaos Lords) and the first half became a massive brawl while both teams attempted to pick the ball up. Khorne, too, was annoyed by the Orcish offensive and elected, for unknowable Chaos reasons, to curse all the blocking in the game - skulls and both downs aplenty.

The second half continued the trend of the first, though most of Nurgle's slime had wiped off. Wazza! failed a crucial 3+ dodge (no rerolls, we both burnt them trying to overcome Khorne's disfavour) and left me with an easy run in for the TD in the 16th turn.

Really fun game and a really cool opponent. Look forward to any rematch.”
