Disgusted with the amount of casualties the team has taken of late, never fielding even half a full roster and thus never being competitive, the coach decried that this would be the last game, whatever the outcome.
Inspired by these words to make the best of the situation, BK put on the performance of a lifetime, scoring twice, scoring a cas and a completion, and cheated of the MVP by Headsplitter, who did absolutely nothing this game but steal our cash, stand there, get knocked over and fouled niggle before he'd even swung his big paws once. All that time in the cas box must've been enough for him to talk the refs into granting him the honors as a true "star". Though between BK and Headsplitter, if I had to choose one to remain as a permanent part of the team, it would be BK all the way.
So much so, in fact, that the team (and much fan support) has convinced the coach to keep the team long enough to get BK all the way to legend status. At that time decisions upon the entire team will be made...twice before, the team was near deletion, and lived on only to raise one of their own to legend...but along the way, the team rebuilt itself and just kept on going even after the legend's retirement. Maybe it'll be the same this time...maybe...”
