“Wow. What can I say? My introduction to Rated matches was anything but gentle. Rolling my usual oh-so-lucky dice. ChrisB rolled more POW's in that game than I've rolled in my career I believe. My team spent most of the game on the ground, or in the casualty box. Everytime I break though, I'd get run down. Losing my werewolves did not help my game. I broke armor maybe 3x, 2 stuns and a KO.
To make things even cuter, on the last drive, after heat exaustion I had 2 zombies and Wight left on the field. Touchback, Wight gets the ball, blitzes through 3 defenders, dodges twice out of harms way, and GFI because I must. Looks like I might stupidly lucky and get a mercy TD right? Nope, mercilessly cut down next turn. Wight and a Zombie stunned, the other knocked down, nothing even left for me to do but watch the Amazon's toss the ball around.
I didnt do anything wrong, ChrisB could DO no wrong, cant complain to anyone but Nuffel for giving me crappy dice. Oh well. Missing a Were and a Ghoul next game is going to HURT, but at least the game forked out enough $ that I can still field 11 players. My luck can only go up from here. ”
