A pretty poor handicap draw for Mad Tias
-----------
A bizarro game.
First half was an amazing luckfest. Three times the Falcons went to score only to come up with a Bone Head on their thrower and thus have no RR for the catch/dodges to come.
Meanwhlie, the Gitz were getting pow after pow after pow, but luckily for the Falcons, only two KO for the half. The Falcons kept collecting the 1s and the snakes and then made a tired mistake, doing a 3+ dodge instead of a 2+.
Then they dropped the ball on a score attempt (snakes!). The Gitz were able to get the ball but failed their pass attempt leaving the ball near an AG5 Blodge Safe Throw Accurate Thrower who can make a TD pass.
Quad skulls took care of that!
However, the Falcons also had some awesome luck with their blocks, causing a niggling on my opponent's AG5 Tackler without using mighty blow and his apothecary failed.
In the second half, the Gitz started with the ball but their blockless Black Ork rerolled a block into skull/pows allowing the Falcons to storm through, knocking out the Gitz' Str4 Tackler in the process and swarming towards the ball.
The Falcons pressure was too extreme and they stole the ball to take a 1-0 lead.
On the next drive, the Gitz again left an opening on the LOS for the Falcons centre to sidestep his way towards the ball in the backfield.
The Falcons attacked the ball once more, getting a one dice blitz on the ball carrier and the ball fell free onto the LOS where both teams fought hard for it.
The Gitz recovered the ball, only to have it knocked free again and the Falcons used their AG5 Witch elf to make a severl 2+ dodges to get to the ball, pick it up (2+) avoid an intercept (on a 6) and make a 3+ pass to the Thrower who ran the ball deep to secure the 2-0 win.

Was a fun game against a fun coach.
A very bizarre match. First luck, my dice were attrocious as I colleded a truckload of ones on the way to 41 luck vs 74 luck till is started to even out a little bit.
My opponent was getting pows everywhere, but luckily for me, it was jus the two KOs which left me with enough players to threaten the score still which never ever came thanks to more ones heh.
My opponent was very unlucky to take a niggle and apoth failure on his best blitzer :(
Second half, my opponent made some mistakes and I was able to capitalise on them and score twice.
Was always going to be hard for the Gitz with just two tacklers in the team and playing up 100 TR (both teams had about 30 TR in cash) so full credit to MadTias for taking on a game he expected to lose.
A great sport and I look forward to playing him again sometime.
