Nuffle made quick progress with the Badgers and after only 4 turns the they had suffered 2 deaths and the apo had failed to save star thrower Ian Goldwyn from his untimely death. Gunde had also been ejected after his first foul and things seemed to indeed be over. First half ended 1-0 to the Rangers and the Badgers could only field 9 players for the second half. First thing that happends is a blitz for the Rangers and the Badgers are hard pressed to fight for the ball. They do however make some good plays and are in a position to set up a certain TD then a quick pass from thrower to catcher fails thanks to nuffle and the Rangers can instead score 2-0. Then nuffle decides to play a mind trick on the Badgers and lets them score quick and then get the ball on defence and score an equaliser in thier final turn. In OT he gives the ball to the Rangers who scores quickly even though the Badgers get 4 block dices on the ball carrier and fails to bring him down. A feat that repeted itself through the whole game. The Badgers had a couple off 1d blitzes against the ball carriers a a few 2d but all ended in pushes or skulls and lead to immense frustration. For the cointoss the Badgers have 5 turns to score and hard pressed as they are after rolling really bad dices they finally manage to set upp a short pass scoring attempt once again from thrower to catcher but once more it is dropped and then the Rangers manages to pow all 3 catchers the equaliser is just a distant dream cruely crushed by Nuffle.
