The Gypsies, missing both their Ogre and their star thrower, took a match against the impressive Dark Elf team, Witches of Woe. Hoping that fortune would favor the bold, the boys from Dark Water shivered a little in the snow and took to the field.

Immediately, the team was in even more trouble, as the cold took to Stu Gauntlet's wounds and he had to sit the game out. The Gypsies played well, with St. Stone injuring an elf on the first play. The doctor brought the elf back, a decision that would haunt the Witches later... The boys drove slowly through the blizzard. Brimstone threw a short pass to the rookie Jonez and he took it in for his first TD. The beginning of a new Jonez legacy?

The second half was sloppy, and bloody. A failed blitz by the Gypsies would give the Dark Elves an easy score. But adterwards, the Elves handled the ball like a bunch of undead in the snow. Time after time, the Gypsies got lucky breaks. St. Stone would kill their star blitzer right near the end, and with no doctor, it was a final death. The score would remain tied. St. Stone would win MVP!

In sad news, the Gypsies will be retiring Olaf Moat, one of the original line-up. The silver lining is he will be replaced by none other than his own brother, Maxwell Moat. It is only a matter of time before another veteran, Stu Gauntlet joins Olaf on the sidelines...

Thanks for the game, Darkhood!
