“A very intense game to nab the lead in the IBL Finesse Conference. Valen jumped out to an early 2-0 lead after exploiting a small whole in my offense with a very nifty (and risky) play.

However I was able to do some damage in the first half, including a handful of KOs. Couple that with the ref having a keen eye in ejecting an elf after attempting to foul the rat ogre out of the game (a noble persuit) and Valen found himself heavily out-numbered for the second half.

Despite the heavy man advantage Valen made some great efforts to score and a couple of decent dice rolls woulda sealed the game for him... alas it was not to be and the rats ran rampant in the second half (thank God for all that speed) and were able to seal the W.

Great match. Looking forward to meeting Valen in person when he makes the trip across the pond for Chaos Cup.”
