The Guests had some intial bad luck and coughed up the ball. The Falcons stole the ball and scored and then got a Blitz!
It was downhill and lopsided dice rolling from there on in. A reroll on a blitz yielded double skulls giving the Guests a lucky escape.
After that the Falcons had several snakes that were costly, eg passing the ball and instead the ball is fumbled and the Guests got the ball and scored.
The Falcons were also blitzed and even got the friendliest bounce to land on a caged Str4 player. I managed to one dice pow him using a reroll and a 5+ dodge (with reroll) but another nice bounce and catch and it was another conceded TD.
The Guests were a stronger team slightly on paper, and the one sided dice turned it into a farce of a game as the Falcons could not string any offence together whilst the Guests barely used their rerolls as they stole the ball off me over and over.
Whilst RandomOracle is a top coach, I was majorly outdiced here and it was barely a contest though there were a few interesting turns.
Still I didn't have a player die nor did I age at 51 SPP so not a total waste of time. Lets hope this one sided luck doesn't continue into the GLT coming up!
Anyways, good luck to my opponent and his preparations for the upcoming High Elf XFL.

Addendum. Watched the replay and yeah, I was mistaken re where the ball was landing on the Blitz!
Watching the replay highlighed more of the snakes/double skulls that turned this game into a farce. Turn 7 first half, chance to set up a score. Second block (required to free up a guy to catch the ball) was double skulls.
Start of second half, second dodge upfield was snake-eyes leaving only one potential scorer and and thus put under immense pressure and no where to go with the ball.
Late in the game, I have a chance to get a second TD but I roll push push push push push etc upffield where I am trying to free up a receiver. Then I roll a 1 to pick up the ball. Then I get intercepted, safe throw fails (another 1!).
Etc etc etc :D
I must be collecting 1s this month as I have had a truckful of them the last 10 or so games heh. ”

Just one minor correction for Malthor's otherwise accurate report: when I got the blitz! I placed my ST4 AG5 thrower under the ball and he caught it on a 2+.
