“The match started off pretty badly...rolled skulls to open my turn, allowing him to blast most of my guys off their feet, ko'ing my str3 gutter and stunning my str4 SV. After my RO failed his WA roll to blitz the ball free, I figured it was a norse score for sure. He even rerolled a block to crowdpush my gutter RIP. But the norse played tentative, giving my RO a second shot, which he made the most of, allowing my bighand gutter to steal the ball and advance it for a ratty score.

Sheer speed of my gutters allowed me to go around his blocking line and steal the ball for a second score, although the number of hurt/ko rats was really starting to pile up. Indeed, at one point we had all of 4 rats left on pitch to 10 or 11 norsemen, but being down by 2 scores and time running out forced my opponent to play aggressive, trying to pass the ball forward for a quick score that he might steal a draw at the end. But he botched the pass, and my gutters were again right there to take advantage and throw forward for our 3rd score.

This next game's gonna be a little off, what with our str3 gutter MNG, one dauntless gutter dead, one of our LOS rats missing as well. Pathetic cash flow for second game in a row...rolled 1's both games, opponent rolled 2 and 1 for their cash. But I have several guys all right next to getting a new skill, and if we can avoid more injuries on-pitch and aging off, then the team's gonna be looking VERY good shortly...”
