A great game that went to OT.

A very enjoyable tight match but in the end the dice were a little too favourable for my opponent. Nobbla was fieled four times? without getting sent off and had a field day getting KOs nearly every time he was used.

The Falcons had a chance to really put the game beyond doubt when they used their wizard and set up a 2 dice blitz on the ball carrier, but the 3+ leap was failed (reroll failed) and the Gitz managed to keep the ball safe.

The Gitz also were the beneficiaries of some incredible luck on the Falcons last drive, getting 3 KOs in one turn to leave the Falcons with almost no players on the pitch. There was a chance to forcce the coin toss or even win. The Falcons just had to get a Thrower deep and then throw the ball deep to make it difficult for the Gitz. But a 3+ 2+ dodge was failed (a 1 on the 2+ dodge) and the Gitz got a Pow on two dice without a tackler on the Falcons Blodger with the ball. A last ditch one dice blitz netted a 1 on the GFI for yet another KO and it was game over.

It was a close game, but the luck swung critically towards MadTias' way and delivered him the advantage to win the game.

You get some good luck you get some bad luck. However, I must say that MadTias played a great game regardless of the help with the dice and is one classy opponent. Happily play him again another day.
