Murda! Murda! has a horrible trend of having Nuffle against them in the tournaments so far, and in this match the poor gobbos were tormented from the first kickoff to the last.
It started with a niggle on the team captain Nob, a perfect defense for the opponent and a kickoff where the ball landed far back in the Murda! Murda!'s own end zone. From there it kept going uphill, with double failed GFI's (one which lead to a BH on Rik in a very good position), lots of early injuries, failed dodges etc.
Nuffle is clever in his torment and for the 2nd half he restored the lost faith by letting the ref ban all of LordRummick's bombers while being lenient on the gobbos. It was of course just a setup though, since the gnomes managed to catch the bombs and succesfully throw them back 3 times out of 4.
Against a skilled coach like LordRummick and a team that is stronger bad luck was probably not even needed to give the Blue Hat Gnomes the victory, but it sure made their job easier.
