“The Gypsies continue to struggle!

With three rookies out of the game, Coach Ryce hired a new lineman to fill out the paper-thin roster. Bull Barracks eagerly stepped off the cobbled streets of Dark Water in an open try-out.

The handlers set the Gypsies up against a high elf team, and though evenly matched on paper, the true team strength belonged to the elves. Still, Coach Ryce was eager for any match to try and bring a win to the down-on-their-luck Gypsies.

It looks like Cougar may have been paid off. In the first half, he first failed to pick up the ball, giving the elves an oppurtunity to score early. Even with their second chance at the ball, Cougar missed a short pass to an eager Jonez, dooming the Gypsies chance for to tie it up before half-time.

Second half would fair no better. Barracks, in an appearent new tradition, got himself knocked out. And the Gypsies would trip in two different critical blitzes to stop the high elves. In almost an afterthought, Cougar would complete a pass to Jonez in the closing seconds of the game.

Somehow, the Gypsies didn't lose a fan factor during this trouncing. So with a healthly roster of 15 players, the boys from Dark Water are ready to turn things around! ”
