“Funny game against Magneto's Flings. First half, Magneto failed plenty of GFI and doges, which should have gotten me in for an easy TD but I couldn't handle the ball. 5 attempts to roll a 3, only 1 succeeded, that wasn't enough. The second half saw slightly improved ball-handling, but Magneto came up with plenty of typical halfling luck. A handful of dodges, a 2d against him block that knocked my ball carrier down and TTM-magic aided by me rolling a doubleskull and a fling was on his way to my endzone. I couldn't down him on my blitz but then Nuffle decided that a draw would be a good result for this game and sent Magneto a skull on the one block he needed to score.
Lesson I learned from this one: AV6 can be veeeery tough to beat. I hardly ever broke armor throughout the game, despite plenty of halflings going down. Would have made the game easier if had broken at least half my share of armor.
