“SWL Season XVI - Premier - Round 1
A brutal first half saw our numbers drop right down to 6, and the dwarvish armour didn't even take a scratch. Unsurprisingly, the half-time score was 0-1. The apothecary had been used, and we already had 2 players missing for the next game.
Fortunately, with a couple of players coming off the bench, and those that were knocked out returning to the field, we still had a full 11 players take to the field for the second half. Mistakes on both our parts gave a few turnovers, and eventually led to an opening in the dwarf defence. That one shot came oh so close to pulling through. Unfortunately, the numbers were becoming too few to shepherd the ball at all (lots of stuns, and a few KOs), and when Elbow Kikka slipped on a GFI, there was no one left to support her efforts, leaving the second half scoreless.
No permanent injuries (apoth saved a niggle), and good winnings mean that I should be able to keep the team running this season, struggling all the way ;-)

Only one casualty from his multitudes of blocks, but he had some important Stuns, and knocked out Bone Krasha (at an important point in the game).

This one could have gone to any one of the three guard/stand firm longbeards. They really are the core of the team, and make one hell of a roadblock.

Well, pretty much just for the Touchdown. He was a bit of a pain in the arse at other times too ST4, and stand firm, and his coach kept on putting him in the most awkward places.”
