“Another game in which I caught myself making some mistakes, but some unlucky dice for the Skaven came to my rescue to allow me to win what should have been a draw.
A few times when I thought the Gutter Runners were boxed in (or out) they'd squeak by (pun intended) with some amazing dodging and dart for open ground and the end zone.
My BOB-Wall and several injuries caused by my orcs allowed Furghag Stumbash to score his second TDof the game, but it was a risky venture as it left most of the Orcish backfield open with several Gutter Runners scampering around just waiting for the ball to be dropped.
The nailbiting finish came when a Gutter Runner made a run to the goal line and stumbled, dropping the ball just as he crossed into the endzone. Thrower Gank Cannon scooped up the ball and completed a short pass to a lineman, but the ball was soon back on the ground after a flubbed handoff, allowing another shot for a Gutter Runner to scoop it up. This, fortunately for the Crows, was not to be, and the Gutter runner stumbled and fell on the ball, which shot into the hands of a nearby Orc as time expired.”
“"Coach Yabber has done well by his team today. Depite our efforts to take them apart on the field by outmanuevering and scoring, every orc on the team has mastered the art of tripping Gutter Runners." - Broot Ratone, Fighting Vermin Head Coach
"Creck Creck Creak ROOOOOOAAARRRRRRR BLOT" - Finyan, Team ?
"Did you hear that, he said blot! I think he is learning how to speak." - Team Ballrat Blest and Fest
"So I was running that ball in for a tie, and fell in the end zone. Then the other guys tried, because those greenskins can't hold on a ball, right. Then there all like whoa, and the ball fell, and then again, and the game was over while everybody just stared in disbelief". - Troz, Team Gutter Runner
"Green freight train I tell ya!" - Team Linemen Squeek ”
