The second half started badly for reds with a failed pass giving the ball to BG's but the reds managed to get the ball back and slowly make their way down field dogged bye the BG's all the way. They finally scored in the final turn of the second half to draw level. but the BG's had a final turn to pull the victory could they score in one turn again. The reds kicked deep to the back field but to avail the Praecox threw a long pass to polygonum who raced through the reds defence to win the game

it was sad game for the Reds as gerrard and Keegan retired after game with niggling injuries maybe the gardens to were just too lovely to leave
