The Juggernauts won the toss and elected to receive despite the rain. Fearful that the rain might stop the Juggernauts from scoring, the Juggernauts fans decided to try and get an advantage for their team by storming the pitch and killing the ref!

The Juggernauts took advantage of this immediately by fouling the Mummy Olli V and killing him! Unfortunately for the Pain in the Ass, the Mummy's wounds were too severe and he did not regenerate :(((.

The Juggernauts pushed forward and badly hurt two more players with fouls whilst the Pain in the Ass tried to foul back but could not get through their opponent's armour.

The game was pretty much decided just halfway through the first period when Bull Centaur Tzor Zagron badly hurt two Ghouls with one block (Multiblock with Block and Mighty Blow, no Tackle). With 5 players injured and a few more knocked out including their other Mummy, the Pain in the Ass really had no chance of playing effective defence.

The Juggernauts scored, and the Pain in the Ass tried to minimise their losses by fielding just three Zombies! Despite this, the Pain in the Ass managed to pick up the ball, dodge and throw the ball downfield!

It made for a very difficult play for the Juggernauts in the dying seconds of the first half with Hobgoblins running as fast as they could to bring the ball up. The Juggernauts Bull Centaur Kzakorag Stormfist (AG 3) caught the ball but tripped over a blade of grass (failed 2+ GFI and Sure Feet reroll) as he crossed the end zone and failed to score!

In the second half, the Pain in the Ass could only field 10 players and soon it was 9 as Tzor Zagron injured yet another player. With so many positional players off the pitch and players tripping over their own feet (failed GFIs) the Pain had little chance of stopping the Juggernauts from stealing the ball and scoring twice more.

Condolences to Candlejack. He didn't have a chance in that game after I got the ref and went on to cause casualties to three players with fouls, and with my Bull Centaur injuring 3 more in the first half, it was a completely lop sided match.

Despite the equal luck meter readings, I had by far the better luck the whole match, only failing one crucial roll (the GFI to score) in the whole match. Candlejack however, got a lot of Skulls on one of two dice when his Dauntless Multiblock player failed his Dauntless roll, far more than 11/36 and failing his GFI a couple of times also meant he did not get the ball to safety.

The only good luck he had was when a dropped catch bounced around and landed back on the original target of the throw and he caught it the second time round! However, someone else in the team failed a GFI whilst setting up a cage and I was able to win the ball.

Full credit to my opponent who didn't whine whilst the rolls were going against him in what would have been a completely unenjoyable match.
