Game in pouring rain on a muddy field.
10 rookie woodies took on 9 orcs.

Even from the start the slippery ball was a challenge for the normally so safe elves, and first pass was dropped. Not soon hereafter the elf ball carrier got blitzed after a tactical blunder and the orcs could steam the ball and score.

The woodies received once more, and could ,after failed hand-offs, run in the ball for an eqalizing TD in their last turn of the half.

Second half started with the orc grinding the ball forward in a cage. Somewhere in the middle of the half an opportunity to block the ball carrying orc occurred, and the ball was knocked out of bounds, only to be thrown far into the orc half.

A race began for the ball - the elves were faster, but the orcs stronger, and soon the elves numbers went from 7 to 6 to 5 to 4. Still, the slippery ball and blown RR's meant that the ball stayed where it was, and it was a draw.

Other things of notice: damn, I still suck at playing woodies - wonder how many games before I actually win one ?

Tree: couldn't do anything right.
Fans: left, no wonder.
Winnings: great, gold for a WD
Cas: I out-bashed orcs!

Thanks for the game
