This was the hardest match the WarSeers had ever faced - a multitude of beasts and horrors against a team at half the standard strength. The game opened, however, with an easy score for the Dark Elves when a clumsy player blundered into a space covered by two WarSeers. Needless to say he got beaten up and Yorkiebar and neXus6 proceeded to the endzone to score.

After that, the Putrid Pong Pushers started their offensive. Although Yorkiebar went into a Frenzy and pushed an unfortunate beastman into the crowd, the WarSeers took the brunt of the punishment, with several players being Badly Hurt or Knocked out. This allowed the Putrid Pong Pushers to get an easy TD towards the end of the first half, though Yorkie made a couple of daring blocks, putting trust in his ST upgrade.

The second half was much more exciting. The ball ended up at the far end of the pitch and while his teammates reluctantly engaged the monstrous Rotters, the little black dog, Crube, dashed through an opening in their lines to take on two Beastmen by himself. He made dozens of daring dodges and went for it on every turn, and all eyes were on the action around the Pusher's endzone. He came within inches of scoring at one point but an outflung hoof brought him to the ground, only to see him get up again and dive for the ball, which just bounced off his cold doggy nose. Eventually one of the monstrous half-men smashed him to the ground a final time, while the other took the ball and ran down the pitch. A few other players attempted to bring down the speeding beastman, but to no avail. His Rotter teammates soon blocked all access to him as he ran, easily shrugging of a vicious assault by Sylass and his bats. The beastman touched down in the last minute and even as the WarSeers received the next kick-off the final whistle blew, ending the game with a 2-1 victory to the Pushers.

As we all know, it's winners that count in Blood Bowl, and so despite their valiant efforts when outnumbered and fearful, the crowd promptly trampled the WarSeers and left them bleeding in the dirt, broken and ridiculed but still determined to fight another day...
