“Against a team with a few much more developed players, the plan was to get a player advantage ASAP and so I went for the foul often and it payed trumps.
Also had some great luck with some KOs.
A late Blitz was lucky for the Rage, who then failed to pick up the ball, and it looked like the Woodies would recover until Drummo failed a dodge and hurt himself!
Twahnlows:
3: Holmsy - Stole the ball, and also caused a RIP (apothed) to set up a possible comeback by the Woodies, but his team mates let him down by not picking up the ball in one tackle zone and sending it deep.
2: Drummo - Despite the fall that stopped the Woodies from recovering, he was a nuisance, and he set up the early steal with his AG5 Dodging and speed to lay an assist on my ball carrier.
1: Golden Child was very annoying with his Blodge Sidestep holding up one side of the LOS.”
“The one that got a way. Not a great start for the WDDs letting slip a 3-1 lead just after half time. Credit to the Rage who lived up to there name playing a stict man first ball second policy which eventually paid off when the Men of Wood ran out of players during the second half. However player coach Micky (Suspended for the game due to some illegal transfer dealings during the fof-season) blames the loss on the teams lack of fighting spirt. The biggest example of this was Drummo the Bummo not bothering to complete a mazy run that could have easily give the Woodies a comanding lead.
Twahnlows
3pts: Malice - Proved to be Mr Johhny on the spot. No amazing plays but always there to pick up the pieces. 3 TDs is testimentt to this.
2pts: Dark Scion - Thorw a lot of punchs which caused quite some discomfort due the Knuckledusters he snuck past the Ref
1pt: Fury - Was only on the field for 2 turns but did 2 casulties in butal display of fouling. Defeniately an angry young man!
Good luck for the rest of the season Malthor (but not 2 much of course)”
