“Things didn't start off too well for the Spleenjabbers, and two first-half Perfect Defense plays by Operation Slither kept the ball in the Orcish half for just about the whole period. Coach Chango made excellent use of his players' speed, and his tough Sauruses didn't let the Orcish heavyweights into the game. It was 1-0 for the Lizardmen at half time, and I had a really bad feeling about the second half.
But the Orcs got some luck after the break, and Gobby Gobswog, the psychotic Goblin hero, snuck in for a touchdown when a dropped ball squirted almost half the width of the field. A Blitz play on the ensuing kickoff kept Operation Slither pinned in their half, and Gobby almost stole the game late, but the Lizardmen had his number by that point, and the Lizardman coach was having no more of *his* nonsense. He was knocked down just short of the endzone, and the Orks just couldn't get the ball back from those scaly devils.
The match ended all square, and a tight, well-played affair it was.
Good game, Chango, thanks.”
