“This was my second victory in my BloodBowl carrier, and the very first uploaded, so really worth a report. Incredible game, and mostly funny....
It was a game of extraordinary dicerolls. The first half beginned with bloodbath. The minotaurs totally ruled the pitch: the wa rolls made no problem, and the big guys rampaged betweeen the skavens like a whirlwind of destruction. With some lucky rolls (and the frenzy) the minos send some of the ratlings to bh, ko and si. The opposing player always failed the rat ogres wa test, so the nasty thing just stood in his place, and roared, but done nothing. Despite this, a gutter runner dodged his way throgh the weak halfling defense, and succesfully scored.
The following turns made my luck: i've got the ball after the kickoff, and with some bloodshed a halfling with the assist by one of the minos and some stunty guy scored for the Satanic Mastercooks.
At the and of the first half, some of my players got injury, and a minotaur failed a gfi, and died in the running attempt: bad luck, but the apo took care of it.
The second half were not that glorious. The skavens made a cage around my remaining players, with the assist of the rat ogre, and after one of my minotaurs gone bh after an unsuccesful one-dice block, the remaining mino always failed the wa test, he was not so useful in the rest of the game. The cage seemed impenetrable, but with a bit of luck -mostly assisted by the dodge skill- the halflings scored again, winning the game by this.
The carvers didn't worth their prize in the game: i forgot the chainsaw in the first turns, apart of that i that always failed to hurt anyone with the nasty weapon, and in the second half the remaining one simply couldn't be turned on. The only victim of the the chainsaw was a stunned skaven at the second half.
To sum up, the minotaurs and some lucky dice roll won the game for me, without any major casualty: i had only bh-s and ko-s, but nothing more, despite that half of my team were injured somehow (well, except the mino who died accidentally, but i pay well the apo for events like this:)) Minotaurs rocks!
The Evil Mastercooks tasted the skaven flesh, and find it good. In the near future maybe i write the recipe "How to cook skaven meat in Chaos Halfling way", it'll be a fine addition to my cookbook:)”
