“A long walk through the countryside of the Empire led The Pride to a circle of caravans, within which were a tribe of travelling Norsemen, Malakai remembered seeing them play as a boy. They lack finesse, but know just how to put the boot in to ensure theyre the only ones left to score. Following up a tip from a soothsayer regarding their quarry, Malakai approached the Norsemen.

Amazed to see a Minotaur who could speak, the Norsemen were afraid, but quickly calmed down and told Malakai what they knew.
The Foot HAD been here, two weeks hence, with this information Malakai thanked the Norsemen and turned to leave.

One of them cried, "Would you go without an explanation, you talk and walk as a man, yet you are beast!"
Another echoed the cry "Tell us, who are you?"
With that, Malakai told them his story, the Norsemen listened, drank, and came to understand his quest, Hamalgrim, youngest of the travelling norsemen became so enraged he vowed to join Malakai's quest to find the Black Foot and make them pay for their deeds!
With pleasant farewells the Pride headed further south with young Hamalgrim in tow, and that night, as they sat by the campfire, Malakai gave to him a powerful suit of armour that would give him the strength of a bear, and protect him against all enemies. Hamalgrim placed the armour about himself and felt infused with power as it snapped shut, and for the first time, he heard the chaos gods call to him.
"Follow Malakai young Hamalgrim, he is our chosen....
Serve him Well...."
