And Can't Remember
The game started in a Blizzard and it was pretty much all over after 4 turns with the Falcons copping a Perfect Defence then rolling a sea of 1s and skulls whilst my opponent got up to 93% luck with his blocks and steals to take a 2-0 lead - getting the ball off me twice to score thanks to my cruddy rolls.
The Falcons finally managed to set up a score and delayed a turn to keep the deficit to 1 TD but it could have been 2 as they went for a hand off with no reroll to spread the SPP.
Second half, the blizzard finally went (3 kick offs for me in the Blitzzard and none for Gatts!).
The 1s and skulls continued, though finally I got some successes too.
The second TD was very risky and I was fortunate to get away with it after being so handicapped on the previous turn two turns with failures galore (another snakes on ball handling).
With a consolation third TD possible at 2-4 down, the Falcons need a push to set up a 3+ pass and 2+ catch for a TD. Skull + Skull/Pow, rerolled to Double Skullz :D
Of course :D
Was just one of those games where almost nothing went right heh.
Even could have saved the lowly AG3 guy who got niggled as no other injuries came in the final four turns!
Rebuilding an old team at TR 400 is tough!
Anyways, I enjoyed the game despite the lopsided dice and my opponent played a good game and was a good sport. Wish him a good recovery and look forward to a rematch.”
“Agree with pretty much evrything malthor wrote. My appologies first of all for being slow and not quite there during first half, had some things that really needed doing and couldnt keep my mind 100% on the game.
Things looked a little bit scary when he killed one of my elfs with his second block but after that evrything went my way. Malthor played solidly but there really was nothing he could do against the horrible dice, while I on the other hand really didnt have to worry to much about anything since all my important rolls worked.
Was a fun game though and i look forward to playing a restoed blood falcons again in the future, why not in the fumbbl cup finals?”
