The Blue Sox got scared by the pure look of the ogres on the other side. Most of the game the elfs tried their hardest to get out of the way of the fearsome beasts (resulting in taunts from the crowd as well as from the opponents)
Best comment of the game came from Russo1 when the Sox ran for the safety of their own end zone at the last turn of first half, leaving two players prone in the middle of the field. When gangfouling one of them he said: That should teach them to stand up!
The game came to an unbelievable end when the Sox pulled off a beautiful move in the middle of the field but fumbeling the gamewinning pass to the endzone, and in the following turn a snotty goblin picked up the ball and throw a longpass to Kumereahm Ungri- who with a splendid show of agility caught the ball and ran for the endzone. Sox had only one turn left and only one player to stop the equalizer - but he didn´t reach to throw a block, so the ogre only had to preform a blitzmove, pushing the elf aside and score.
2-2 was the endresult and a lot thanks to Russo1´s ogres being more boneheaded than usual!

Thanks for the game Russo1, I´m looking forward to the rematch

#10 Gudjaw Breaker – Dead (RIP)
A cracking game between these two sides, which saw the Dark Elves take a 2-0 lead in the first half, utilising their superior agility and movement.

The Ogres came back strong in the second half, and scored twice with the equaliser coming in the last turn for the Ogres.

Funnily enough both TD's for the Ogres came from Ogres carrying the ball as opposed to the traditional goblin moves.

The only sad point about the whole match was the death of the ogre called Gudjaw Breaker....who as seems to always happen when someone dies...got the MVP award......what a waste...

Anyway thanks to Hobo for providing yet another great game of end-to-end action.
