“The third matchup between these two teams, with the record set at 1/0/1, this was facing up to be thrilling decider, despite the fact both teams have seen better days.
The Blight welcomed Iron Man, to give to Silverstam Strekoff, and took the Kick, hoping to give a few injuries before scoring. And give they did, with a SI and BH coming in the first push. Then we got cocky, and tried to cage the ball to see if more injuries could be delt out...and Oldbugmanof will miss the next game due to our stupidity and Smegs good blitz.
Smeg managed to get the ball over the line but the Blight equalised with a great pass by man of the match Pegoski. 1-1 at half time.
2nd half and the Elves decided the Ref had to go. This would have made things interesting, but the Elves had no DP, so it didn't turn into the fouling war that the Norse experienced last game. Still, it did mean the Norse were loath foul heaps.
The Elves scored easily, but the Blight KO'd a few more players and ambled up to the Touchline by turn 6...and stalled. Smeg I'm sure would have liked another chance to take the game, but with the brace of forfeits in this comp so far, the Blight were happy to take the Draw.
Well done to Smeg, he made things very difficult and exploited every opening I left.

#3 - Henri Charlemagne - whatta game for this guy, TD, Cas and great tactical usage
#2 - Hammas Sooka - The most dangerous of the Elves
“Well, that game could've been much different if Havan had turned up.... but his niggling injury and Melindi's injury early in the match made this game much more difficult then it otherwise would have been. The elves did their best without those stars, but they just aren't the same team without Havan smacking everything in reach. Somehow pulled off a draw in a game that could've gone better, but could've been so much worse....
Twahnlows:
3 Points - Busar Littlenoff Pegoski: Main ballcarrier for the game, and thoroughly deserved his MVP (unlike Melindi)
2 Points - Nufflekoff Cursenen: Words cannot describe how much that blitzer drove me up the wall, whacking people all over the place....
1 Point: Fistien Shovisken: Some good kicking skills shown there, and I will remember him in our next meeting.”
