“My first ever match with dwarves and the first victory after an seemingly endless streak of draws and occasional losses.
The first TD was scored after a long running game. With my troll slayers holding up the GT's trolls the remaining goblins didn't have the strength to stop my dwarves. The two GFIs needed to reach the end zone were obviously succesfull.
GT's attacks were at least partly wasted on failed attempts to throw a team-mate. I ended up with the ball after 2nd half kick-off when it was bouncing around in the open. The second TD was the replica of the first one, only this time I used the other side of the field to run the ball to the end-zone. Gorgon did all the running and both TD's in this match.
The luck percentage paints a clear picture of the match. I suffered only (maybe) two unexpected turnovers, so I had every opportunity to finish my turns with every dwarf exactly where they were supposed to be. GT also had their boxes full of badly hurt and dead goblins, so the last few turns were a formality.
The dwarves proved to be a formidable force, but I look forward to seeing them perform in less optimal situations. ”
“Someone was needed to put my good-luck streak to an end. And that someone was Dostojevski. Boy, was I getting bashed up.
My ever stupid trolls should've won the trophy of the most useless creatures on the field. None of my gobos managed to get even close to the end-zone...with a ball, I mean. I tried to familiarize myself to the fine art of throwing a team-mate, but since it was my first time trying to do it (and ofcourse, I totally discarded the option to look up the rules), few of my turnovers were caused by my boneheaded 'try-and-fail' tactic. Now I know how to do it, but knowing that won't bring back my beloved Trippy. Poor fella got to taste some dwarf fist. It's a bad taste to die with...”
