“First half was good, i was kicking but managed to steal the ball, breakaway and score.
In return i managed to keep the Juff gang out until turn 8 and but for a pow result on my sidestepping blodger it could of been quite different....
Not that it would of made any difference in the long run though as i got thoroughly diced in the 2nd half, not by my opponant but by my own dice!
Mr T managed to roll 3 1's attempting to pickup the ball, then when he did pass (after my 2nd and last reroll had been used) the receiver dropped it with another 1. In all i Rolled 8 1's on skill rolls in the first 4 turns, 6 of them were double 1 results with a team or skill reroll. Needless to say i quickly coneded two more touchdowns.
Getting blitzed twice really didnt help after all those 1's, and just goes to prove when nuffle has it in for you he really goes to town...
To add insult to injury, i could of had a consolation score in turn 16 but my catcher failed his rerolled catch.... yes two more ONES!
On another note, the first gang fouls of our little competition have sprung to life (YAY!) Michael Flatley needed CPR after a particuarly viscious 7 man gang bang RIP'd him breifly (yes this followed another 1 on a GFI otherwise fleet footed michael would of been nowhere in the vicinity let alone prone..)
I retaliated later in the second half though which made me feel much better even tho was only a KO ( chants of NIGGLE NIGGLE NIGGLE on his wardancer skillup.... and he niggled :E also make me feel much better)

Grit did indeed call upon Nuffle to niggle my Wardancer on his aging roll, and was duly rewarded. I spiked his drink with warfarin, so I guess we'll be even once he recovers.
My dice were almost as bad as Grit's at times, with some spectacular double skulls and snake eyes. Mine just weren't at critical points, so erm... unlucky? :p
