“Bazhsw, Coach of the Super Hooligans said: A hard fought draw was battled out today. The treedancers spent the first half slowly pushing our defence back until they were in a position to score. We fought a good rearguard action and broke one of our lineman through to harass their ball carrier in the last turn. We were unlucky not to score but I was confident we would not concede in the blizzard. The second half started badly for us when we caged the ball but ran into a brick wall. We were quickly swarmed by the Elves and they broke the ball free to score. Being a man or two down didn't help. Our equaliser was scored near the end of the half. We had more of the same - a big war of attrition in the centre of the field but I could see a gap to exploit. A few blocks went our way and we broke to get a deserved draw.”
