“This was a rough one for Timzeentch. Second game and (like many of us) he came into it short-staffed due to injuries from his -first- game. And the handicaps he was handed, while nice (loads of rerolls!) were not the precision targetting he could have hoped for. A Virus would have whittled down the number advantage on my experienced but injury-prone team much more effectively. That bad luck was only the beginning of what was to become a characteristically bad set of rolls for the Skaven.
The Cheeseholmd Rockers are damn scrappy rodents though! Lots of one-die blocks (sometimes with spectacular effect, sometimes ... not so much) punctuated a game of drive and counter-drive. But as knock-outs and hurts mounted on both sides, the simple fact of the Casualtie's consciously long roster made itself felt.
Still, I'm planning to keep an eye on Timzeentch, and see where the little mice from Cheesehold end up in another half-dozen games, with more money and experience. It looks like it'll be well worth the watching.”
