It all started so well, I went one up after capitalising on a mistake on my kickoff and even killed an orc meaning he had used his apoth. The apoth succeeded though, which is fair enough, I mean it's a 1 in 6 chance of it failing. Unless ur coach name is Colossus...
My only str4 player killed in the first half. Apothecary called for obviously, only for him to fail yet again. I should have seen it coming, after all he has succeeded in maybe 5 of the 10 times this team has called on him, so he was due a failure, especially after the last 2 times were successes. So thats me a man down after turn 5 with no apothecary left. My blodgeing tackle blitzer then gets a-str later in the game, which is basically the same as a death, i'm hardly going to persist with him. Somehow I manage to scramble a victory. The fans then rub it in further by not paying their way at the gates and once again i find that I am the winning team but get less money. And once again i find that my fan factor does not increase after a win. I've seen teams that have played fewer games than me, won fewer games than me and still have fan factors in the 20's, wtf does this team have to do to attract some fans, it's not like it's ugly bloodbowl to watch, I'm fricking elves! My fan factor has even decreased a couple of times when I've won and opposition teams seem to have a good chance of theirs going up when they lose to me.
But anyway...
So after all is said and done, I go to my team page, retire the Dragon warrior, see that I don't even have enough money to buy a lineman and then deal with my ag5 Blodgeing lino's new skill. Which is a double. Which i didn't really want. But then it really kicks me in the teeth. Niggle on the ageing. But i can't retire him yet because I only have 12 players. 2 of which are now niggled.
Honestly, what's the point in this game? Just as ur team gets good u get a match like that and get buggered so hard u cant walk for a week. Hour and a half I'll never see again, where my team was better before I played.
And I've just wasted ten minutes writing this as well. Still at least I've vented some of my frustration. Now i'm going to vent the rest by punching a wall. I'll need to use my left hand because my right wrist is still injured after the last time i did that. Strained ligaments in it. Because of a match like this.
Seriously.

EDIT: i should note that spacemanspliff was unlucky not to get something out of the game. His orcs had a few chances to equalise late in the second half and fumbled a few easyish passes. However it might have helped me in the end if they had equalised, my dragon warrior might still be playing. ”
