“After a shaky first match, the evil, scheming masterminds of the Vileheim Villains really needed a good game - and that's exactly what the Goths! provided.

Early casualties were mostly KOs, but when Ernst Blofeld finally put down his cat and started throwing his weight around, the pitiful fairies were fairy dust!

A breakthrough early TD from Doctor No set the tone for the match, as Goths! numbers dwindled play-to-play, partly thanks to a very poor run of luck which saw at least one double skull, which in itself led to an SI; but following the death of Cubs, Lex Luthor and Blofeld combined for a thrown halfling TD!

After half-time the remaining fairies rallied around their Treeman, who set up what may well have been the move of the match. Hopelessly outnumbered, he hurled Brownie Elle clear over the tiny halflings and bemused Big Guys to sprint clear for a great score.

The match was rounded off with another TD, this time fom promising young Company man Carter Burke, and the vicious slaughter of Goths! star Pixie dusting at Blofeld's hands (and claws, teeth, horns etc.) All in all a well-played game by DaveBushe and I look forward to our next encounter!”
