“NWL Season 2 Opening Day action!

Season 1 ended with me nudging lordchaos and his dwarfs out of the playoffs by defeating them in the final week of play. So the shorties bore quite a grudge... and planned to get their satisfaction through elven blood.

A classic battle of elf-ball trying to fight the attrition of bodies. 4 Cas and a KO bin that remained mostly full for what seemed like the whole game. Yet the spunky few elves who remained ducked, weaved, dodged and somehow eeked out a tie. Heck, we even popped the ball late and had another 1D shot on the ball on turn 8 for a potential win (mostly cause lordchaos was playing for a nonexistent OT win).

In any case, ending the game with 5 bodies on the field, I ll take that tie (especially with no lasting injuries) and look forward to meeting up with these dwarfs again in the playoffs... a long long time from now.”
