“"One-in-a-million chance things do happen nine times out of ten" - Terry Pratchett.
So here it is. It seems that the Scurriers had developed a liking for playing Chaos teams. The match did end 1-0 and the winning team made 4 casualties to the other while getting only one of its players Badly Hurt.
Now, based on that, you guess who won the match... Chaos or Skaven?
Wrong.
For some strange reason the hopelessly outbshed rats managed to hit harder than the opponent when it counted and made the most casualties this match. The most notable one was from gutter runner Fingeek Fast-Scramble that managed to seriously injure a Chaos Warrior (promptly saved by the opponent's apo).
The enemy Minotaur was a real nightmare on the field and by far the most effective player in the opponent's team. It proved simply impossible to get rid of him in any way.
A last footnote about rat lineman Zasgas Night-Squealer: he was counting on his newly grown claw to give him a little edge in fights, but is beginning to discover (much to his dismay) that a clawed skaven is a primary target for the enemy's heavy hitters. Not that he wasn't warned.
Cheers to Oberon Wolf for a good (and rather well played on his part) game - a rematch could be in order one of these days. ”
