“As usual, the Nasties played a game that was a comedy of errors. With their brand new player John 'The Fuse' Johnson taking the field for the first time, most of the Nasties were too preoccupied with dodging his crazy lobs and rolling on the ground laughing as their fellow players took shrapnel from numerous bombs on the field.
The Fuse was taken out of the game by a nice hit from a Fanatic early in the second half, though, so the Nasties had to find something else to entertain them. (Try scoring a touchdown, guys.) A few unfortunate dice rolls prevented any scoring by either side in the second half, and the Nasties came up winless... again. They didn't seem to care, however, as after the game they barely avoided more casualties playing with The Fuse's bombs in the locker room.
“The Red Eye Mountain Fanatics took on another Goblin Cheater team, the Gobbotown Nasties, in ffron tof 55,000 Fans...
The Fanatics kicked off the game and after long hard fought battles, the Fanatics were able to get the ball away from the Nasties and score on turn 8...
Leading 1-0 at half time, the Fanatics received the kickoff... Even though they outnumbered the Nasties, they had problems picking up the ball and their Ball & Chains started collapsing, Loon E died :( The Fanatics held off the Nasties and almost were able to score again on turn 8 but failed a gfi for the handoff...
Thanks for game...”
