A titantic battle between the rats and lizards! Cusi Obi-Wan Halibut took the opening kick up the sideline, escorted by his entire team. Stiff defense forced Obi-Wan to dodge his way past, but he succeeded to score the first touchdown. Beorgol the Dark grabbed the next kickoff, and settled in behind the big guys. The left side opened up, but Morgyff the Rainbow was tripped in the lane, blocking Beorgol's path! Beorgol bounced to the outside, and after a failed handoff, Ormahr the Bouncy took up the ball. Qui-Gon Trog had a final shot at Ormahr, but Nuffle blessed him with a skull, and Ormahr scored to level the game.

Beorgol took the second half kickoff, and again tried his luck on the left. Rats swarmed to defend, and Saurii and Beorgol broke to the right. Rat Ogre Jar Jar Veron raced back to lead the defense, and the rats again stalled the attack. R2-EMMPU2 blitzed Beorgol, and it's a FUMBBL! With blockers running short, Ormahr scooped up the ball and made his break for glory... but a fantastic blitz by Jar Jar brought him down short of the endzone.

Linerat C-3PEikko picked up the loose ball, but there were lizards everywhere! Relentless hitting by the lizards brought C-3PEikko to the brink of losing control, but he caught his balance on the sideline. Just when it looked like C-3PEikko might escape, Woggard the Crippler finally felled him, the ball bouncing to Tore Windu! Tore was instantly surrounded, and in a moment of genius, flipped the ball to the nearby crowd as he was bought down! The ball was pitched well upfield, leaving just one chance.

The last play of the match... Saurus Pythor must go for it twice, pick up the ball, throw a nine pace pass, to be caught by a waiting skink (with catch). Let's see... my rough paper calculations leave this at 5% or worse to succeed, and indeed, it didn't quite come off, Pythor failed to pick up the ball, ending the match at 1-1.

Easily the most fun I've ever had in a match, especially the incredible second half, with a rollercoaster of a fight for the ball all the way into the endzone! A fun match all the way through, looking forward to the rematch.
