The Scurriers entered this game with only 11 players (that's a little too few for a Skaven team) and the Rat Ogre Armripper got badly hurt on turn 3 of the first half so the poor rats were hopelessly outnumbered and outbashed for nearly all the game. Already the opponent's players were sniggering at the thought of tanning some rat hide.
But then... the lizards did not know that amongst the rats fan there were (seemingly) the complete Underworld Scurriers Gutter Runner Fan Club that counted amongst its members some very hot ex-cheerleader.
Such is the power of hormones on the heart of rats. The Gutter Runners were pratically on fire.
They blitzed, jumped dodged and sneaked around like crazy all the time. They evaded the sauruses and bore down on the skinks stealing the ball and making touchdowns. And it does not end here.
A young rat shaman, junior member of the Gutter Runner Fan Club, called down sweltering heat on the field during a whole drive. After the TD (by the rats) the opponent's Kroxigor and a Saurus were not able to go back on the field for a while.
Then at the start of the second half, the Gutter Runner Fan Club invaded the pitch stunning half of the opponent's team (a couple rats were also stunned by a group of rogue skinks that had managed to sneak in also).
The lizards had to try and recover the ball from the rats very deep into their half of the field. To their credit they managed that, but then Gutter Sasqueal Sewer-Runner pulled out a superb play, got back the ball and scored!
Last TD was scored by the lizards that in the meantime had managed to beat senseless nearly all the Skaven team (alas for the injury to poor thrower Skriitch Sharp-Shoot).
And so it ends 3-1. Let me state it again... the funkiest rat game I've ever seen. Thanks and congrats to Coach Thedemon for being a good sport (and a good coach too...).
