“It was a glorious summers day and a huge crowd turned out to watch the oldest and longest running rivalry in the SWL. The Adpest had their strongest team in 3 seasons, and had even managed to attract the big time Hthark to sidelines for the momentous encotuner. Meanwhile the newly prmoted Carlton were looking to avoid relegation, and hoping that their man 'The Duke' could overcome the Zen Juggernaught.
Carlton took an early lead on a Snakefield special, the Duke was in fine form to mark the occasion. The Adepts replied with a wild and crazy drive to that saw the ball go all over the field and finally end up in the hands of Abhya for the tying score.
The scond half was as wild as the first with the ball changing hands several times. In the end the true class of 'The duke' shone through as he took the game by the scruff of the neck and plunged over the goalline for the winning touchdown.
The great rivalry now stands at Zen 5, Carlton 3, 1 Draw, with carlton avoiding relegation, can they claw one back in the head to head in season 17?
Twahnloes:
3pts: The Duke - 2 Tds 1 cas, 20 rushing yards, 6 blocks and a whole lot of headaches for coach Flo711
2pts: Jake Fluttery - 21 Blocks!!!! He is a machine.
1pts: Bob Gibolobo - Was instrumental in his teams success controlling the ball and passing well. ”

The only score for Zen came from this old veteran Hobgoblin. Showed why he's the greatest Hobgob in the SWL with his consistently flawless play, including a very nice long pass to mindful which really should have beenthe game winner.

Nice run to pretty much seal Zen's opening score. Got unlucky when Braybrook chased him down just before the line to throw the game wide open again. Shame Hobgobs can't count...

A much more impressive game comparatively for this Cow than for either of his superbullman counterparts. Made some nice moves in defence where his more illustrious comrades tended to find themselves often stranded out of position.”
