“Dirty Laviak and his dirty fill in Lizards :P
Well this game was not as close as it looked. The Sunbakers took an early 2-0 lead due to some rather stupid plays, at the fore being Vimes attempt to snag a completion, rather than focus on the win. Half time came along and Owner and Captain Lord Vetinari gave some choice words about the link between winning and living, or in the Watches case remaining undead rather than just plain old dead, and the watch came out all gunz blazing for the second half. Now if only they were not dirty dodging lizards who score that winning TD no matter what you do.........
Great game laviak, and the better team won on the day (unfortunately!!)

3pts - Raab. As much as i hate the little bastard, he is well worth the 3 points and in hindsight the skink that sunk the Watches premier hopes.
2pts - Rhysss - Well deserved MVP. Despite not picking up a casualty, this dodging (no, NOT with break tackle) blitzing mongrel of a saurus was everywhere in defence as well as offense and along with Raab sunk the watches season.

What's this, a win in the conferences?!? Sure they got beaten up .. but they WON! Not what we were expecting at all. Anyway, the replay is a little bit broken, but you still get to see some of the rather incredible moves (they shouldn't have worked, but they did!), like saurus dodging through #2 Detritustackle-zones, skinks blitzing / dodging through gaps that not much else could fit... anyway, the fans certainly loved it (the Sunbakers fans that is).

Lack of a proper replay made this a little tricky, so I'm mostly going from memory on this one.
3 pts - #7 Cecil "Nobby" Nobbs
Well, not hard to pick Nobby for the 3 points here- scoring both touchdowns for the city watch speaks for itself.
2 pts - #5 Sir Samuel Vimes
With Lord Vetinari and Sergeant Angua off for large parts of the match (Morleys / Greatest), it meant that it was down to Vimes to tackle the slippery skinks, and he did a fine job of bringing them down to the ground.
1 pt - #2 Detritus
Well, I don't know which one of the two golems deserves the vote - they both did their jobs (and laid out one hell of a beating in the process).
Note: There was a lot of fouling in this match, as expected. Good fouling, while important, doesn't affect my votes when it comes to twahnlows. The way I see it, such a prestigious award should be awarded for the more "legal" aspects of the game”
